Attended a panel discussion and networking event featuring professionals from diverse industries including ticketing in pharmaceuticals, Tesla, and government sectors. Event focused on career development frameworks and cross-industry insights.
Learned about the difference between the 3 PM’s and heard real-world perspectives from people in completely different fields. Interesting to see how the same principles apply whether you’re working in government bureaucracy, fast-paced tech at Tesla, or pharmaceutical. Got a better sense of how different industries operate and what skills transfer across roles.
Networking with professionals from various industries gave me perspective on how MIS skills apply across different sectors—not just tech companies. Hearing from Tesla employees reinforced my interest in tech roles, while the government and pharmaceutical reps showed me alternative paths where business technology skills are valuable.
