Consultant

At Ahmadov’s Consulting, I served as a business/technology consultant with responsibilities that included analyzing client operations, identifying inefficiencies, and delivering tailored solutions that improved performance. My role combined research, data analysis, project coordination, and strategic recommendations, while also requiring regular communication with clients to ensure alignment with their goals.

Examples of Projects

Product Sales Tracking: Monitored which products were selling well and which items consistently underperformed, creating reports to guide restocking decisions.

Supply Optimization: Recommended increasing supply of high-demand items while reducing inventory of slower-moving products, ensuring resources were allocated efficiently.

Customer Needs Analysis: Recorded and analyzed customer purchasing patterns to reflect changing preferences, helping clients adjust their product offerings.

Sales Growth Support: Used collected data to provide actionable insights that contributed to higher sales and more effective business strategies.

What I Learned & Relevance to My Major
This experience strengthened both my technical and managerial skills. From a Management Information Systems (MIS) perspective, I applied database management and systems analysis (from courses like MIS 101 and Enterprise Systems) to evaluate client operations and recommend technological improvements. From a Business/Economics perspective, I applied concepts of financial analysis, market research, and strategic planning, which I had learned in Managerial Accounting and Microeconomics. The internship taught me how to bridge technical systems with business strategy—a core theme of my major—and gave me hands-on practice in ensuring solutions are both data-driven and aligned with organizational goals.
