Diversity in Tech Tour
I had the opportunity to attend the Diversity in Tech Tour in San Francisco on April 26th, 2024, where I got to network with professionals from leading companies such as Salesforce, Chime, LinkedIn, Accenture, Visa, and Twilio. It was sponsored by The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Silicon Valley and the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area.
The event featured insightful panels led by these experts, engaging case studies that challenged us to solve real-world problems for these big companies, and firsthand exposure into how the big tech world operates.
Networking with these professionals broadened my perspective on the tech industry and provided valuable insights into how things work behind the scenes. I hope to do work in the tech field after college so it really gave me insight into what that would look like and how the tech field has so many different fields within itself.
