Late Spring Career Fair
Location: SJSU Student Union Ballroom
Date: Tuesday, April 15th
Time: 12 pm – 3 pm
At the late spring career fair held at SJSU, I was able to connect with employers for potential internship opportunities. Some employers present at the fair were Mercedes-Benz, Paystand, QA Wolf, and many more. I interacted with Paystand, a company utilizing b2b payments offering part-time internships. There were also companies hiring for standard part-time jobs, such as the San Jose Sharks ice skating rink, which allows room for professional development. Additionally, there were also employers hiring positions that offered more creativity and flexibility in their schedule, as San Jose Jazz, which is looking for social media marketing interns.
This fair was a solid experience to expand my horizons in terms of looking for employment.
