LL2: Building Trust
1. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this learning module).
I learned that building trust is key to maintaining camarederie in the workplace. Various factors can play into how others perceive you, and how this in turn affects their trust in you. If you display insecure and uncertain body language, or unable to keep contact, it impacts how your coworkers see you. Most people don’t want to trust an uncertain person. A person can build trust through holding 3-5 seconds of eye contact, posture themselves well in the presence of others, and by being a good listener.
This relates to my major in the sense that I will having to work in a professional business setting so I need to know how to properly socialize myself for those situations.
