LL1 Getting Things Done

1. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this learning module).

I learned about David Allen’s five-step process for managing tasks: capturing, clarifying, organizing, reflecting, and engaging. This builds the foundation for better time management & overall productivity. He stresses the importance of writing things down to avoid later forgetfulness, and it clears up any clutter that may be in your head.

This relates to my major because it’s important that one stays focused on the task at hand, and can manage multiple things at once efficiently. I especially find his two-minute rule helpful, because it allows me to make the most of my time. If a task can be completed within two minutes then I do it now instead of waiting later.
