Digital Transformation
Conducted a thorough 42 page case analysis and real-world executive presentation simulation for a pseudo-company provided in the sample case that conducts B2B sales of Industrial Parts. This analysis consisted of recommendations for a digital transformation to assist in the company’s expansion and revenue growth goals. My report and group presentation provided complete, data-driven solutions for each work function (Sales, Warehouse Operations, Finance and Accounting, HR, IT, and the C-Level Executives), mitigations for risks, implementation plan, a proposed budget, detailed infrastructure diagram, and research to back it up. The sources I gathered my data from were all current and up-to-date with the newest technological advancements down to the softwares and hardware devices.
I learned how an IT Consultant or anyone responsible for researching a Digital Transformation must go about their process as well as how important it is to keep up with current technologies as the space moves fast. This project also gave me practice in being meticulous about the details and ensuring that every part of the large puzzle fits together in the most efficient and effective way. It also improved my presentation skills and helped me hone my ability to express all details and angles of a recommendation within a report or condense a 40+ page report into a 10-minute presentation.
