Project Summary:
Goals: The project aimed to develop an automated HR system to replace A-1’s outdated manual processes, which involved paper forms and manual data entry for employee information management. The goal was to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance employee satisfaction through a user-friendly self-service interface.
Results:
- Our team identified key problems, including data inaccuracies, processing delays, and high maintenance costs.
- Solutions included implementing an integrated, automated HR system with real-time data updates and a centralized database to reduce errors and improve accessibility.
- Enhanced data security features, such as role-based access controls and encryption, were prioritized to safeguard sensitive information.
This project taught me the importance of including stakeholders in the development process, understanding system constraints, and creating user-friendly interfaces that allow employees to handle their data.
