Project Name: Gift. Toys Collectibles: Operation Streamline: Refining Marketing and Management Procedures
- Our project aimed to help Gift. Toys Collectibles, a small San Jose retail store specializing in Japanese mech model kits, overcome challenges in inventory management, online presence, and marketing. The goals were to launch a Shopify storefront, automate inventory tracking with a Python script, and design a social media campaign to expand customer engagement. Over the course of the project, we coordinated with the store owner, analyzed profit margins, implemented digital tools, and created marketing strategies that streamlined operations. The results included a clear roadmap for sustainable online sales, improved budgeting insights, and a foundation for long‑term growth. While there is no public project URL, the experience taught us how to identify a critical path, manage slack in tasks, and balance technical development with creative marketing. Most importantly, we learned how structured project management can transform small businesses by aligning technology, finance, and customer outreach.
