- Job function (e.g., overall role, assigned tasks) – Optimized loan operations by leveraging Nortridge Loan System (NLS) and internal tools (Argyle, BlackBook, Excel) to streamline loan issuance, monitor customer balances, and ensure accurate, timely payment scheduling which contributed to improved loan servicing efficiency.
2. Examples of projects (e.g., list the projects you worked on and what you accomplished)An example of a project would be gathering all of a specific person’s debts and creating a debt consolidation plan for them. This would improve their financial situation by combining their debts into a single loan with a better APR, while also showing them the additional savings and reduced monthly payments compared to paying each debt separately.
3. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this experience in the context of specific courses) – What I was able to learn was how to work with credit and help people improve their financial situations, as well as advise them on how they could better manage and grow their money. In addition to providing financial guidance, I also gained experience in selling complementary products related to loans, such as increasing loan amounts and reviewing credit trade lines. I learned how to help customers get back on track with their credit while also developing the skills to build strong, positive relationships with both customers and the company.
