Improving the Digital Presence of Nirvana Soul Coffee

My team and I created a recommendation report focused on improving the digital presence of Nirvana Soul Coffee by redesigning its website to better match customer expectations and the café’s vibrant community-focused brand. The main goals of the project were to improve website usability, mobile responsiveness, online ordering functionality, and overall visual engagement while strengthening the café’s online brand identity. Through surveys, customer interviews, and competitor analysis of café websites such as Verve Coffee Roasters, Blue Bottle Coffee, and Chromatic Coffee, our team identified major gaps in Nirvana Soul Coffee’s current website, including outdated design, limited interactivity, and lack of online ordering. As a result, we proposed several research-based recommendations such as implementing mobile-first design, adding online ordering and event features, improving storytelling, and enhancing interactivity. Throughout the project, we learned how to conduct primary and secondary research, analyze user experience data, evaluate competitor websites, and develop professional recommendations that align technology, branding, and customer needs.
