Consulting and Data Analytics Extern
In my externship with Credera’s DE&I team, I had the opportunity to contribute to the development of cultural competency and global best practices guides. My projects focused on Auckland, New Zealand, and involved in-depth research on local laws, customs, and workplace practices. This hands-on experience allowed me to apply theoretical concepts of cultural competence from coursework, gaining practical insights into adapting workplace practices globally. Through this, I fine-tuned my research and analytical skills in comprehending Auckland’s cultural, social, and economic dynamics and expanded my role beyond data organization. I proactively identified underrepresented populations and provided insights into the distinctive challenges U.S.-based companies operating in Auckland face. This hands-on experience markedly elevated my strategic thinking as I seamlessly bridged cultural insights with overarching business objectives, aligning closely with Credera’s core values. In doing so, I contributed substantially to formulating an all-encompassing global DE&I strategy.
