An Interesting Book
Recently, I have finished reading a really good book that called : “Weaving Women’s lives: Three Generations in a Navajo family”. This book was about the lives of three women in a Navajo family. As a woman, I always found inspired by the stories of other women. This book gives me insight of Navajo women in a larger American society, not only inside isolated indigenous culture. By describing Navajo beliefs, values, and orientations, the writer Louise Lamphere has excellently showed the vibrancy and strength of Navajo culture.
