Building Trust
I learned the importance of building trust and the two criteria of competency and warmth. When it comes to building trust with people, it is important to demonstrate competency or the ability to perform. When people can see I have the ability to perform tasks and have the knowledge to lead, people will start trusting. In addition, warmth is all about showing interest in others and their interests. Being empathetic and understanding helps others give their trust. In my future roles, it is important to build trust, especially with my team and colleagues in order to create a collaborative environment where we can all thrive together.
