The NON-STEM Resumania event was held at San José State University during the Spring 2026 term on 2/10.
I learned:
- How to improve the structure and formatting of my resume
- How to tailor my resume to specific roles and industries
- The importance of highlighting measurable achievements
- Insight into the application process from alumni and the keynote speaker
- How professional feedback can significantly strengthen job application materials
Connects with my coursework because:
- Helping me apply concepts from MIS classes (data management, information systems, analytics) to real-world job applications.
- Strengthening how I present technical and business skills together — which is critical in MIS.
- Preparing me for internships and full-time roles in technology-driven business environments.
