Mobile App Development Project for O’Henry Donuts
In a team of six, we used Scrum project management techniques to develop a mobile app prototype for O’Henry Donuts, a local business seeking to improve customer service. The app focused on reducing wait times by allowing customers to see the real-time status of their orders and receive notifications when their order was ready. Throughout the project, we conducted a cost-benefit analysis, designed a functional app prototype, and created Gantt charts to track project milestones. We rotated Scrum roles like Product Owner and Scrum Master, fostering strong collaboration and agile decision-making. The project concluded with a class presentation demonstrating how the app could enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This experience strengthened my skills in agile development, user-focused design, and teamwork.
