Organizational Behavior Analysis of Google
In a team of five, we analyzed two major business issues facing Google: overhiring and ineffective resource allocation. Using organizational behavior (OB) theories, we examined the impact of these issues on employee morale, productivity, and overall company performance. Our analysis included relevant case studies, internal restructuring patterns, and behavioral insights to suggest potential improvements in workforce planning and resource management. We concluded the project with a class presentation that highlighted both the problems and our recommended solutions, supported by data and OB frameworks. This project helped me deepen my understanding of how people-related challenges affect large organizations and how to apply OB concepts to real-world business situations.
