BUS4-110A: Live Analytics Interface Group Project

Our group of four collaborated on a report featuring six analytics aimed at optimizing sales strategies using data, and we developed an interface through Google Colab using Pandas:

  1. Top Performing Products: Identify the best-selling products to focus on for increased revenue.
  2. Sales and Profit Analysis by Subcategories: Explore sales and profit metrics within specific segments to pinpoint areas for improvement.
  3. Discount Strategy for Regions: Determine effective discounts tailored to specific geographic regions.
  4. Least Profitable Products by Year: Identify products with low profitability for targeted improvement efforts.
  5. Customer Loyalty Program Targeting: Utilize RFM rating strategy to identify customer groups for targeted loyalty programs.
  6. Discount Rate Comparison: Compare and visualize average or highest discount rates across sub-categories to inform pricing strategies.

To simplify user interaction, Google Colab allows easy execution of these analytics. The code is well-documented, enabling users to modify parameters for customized analysis. The Live Analytics Interface group project provided valuable experience in data analysis, coding, leadership, and teamwork, enhancing our skills in both technical and collaborative aspects.
