Bus4-110A: Recommendation Report
For my recommendation report, I focused on addressing the goal of increasing overall sales by 20% this year. Through careful analysis and leveraging Python and Pandas of the sales data, I analyzed the effectiveness of their discount strategies across different regions. Based on my analysis, I recommended revising the discount strategies by applying discount rates to top-selling items that were not offered discounts in the previous year. This strategic adjustment aims to increase demand for these products, potentially leading to higher sales and contributing to the overall goal of a 20% increase in sales.
The recommendation report project taught me the importance of thorough data analysis and how strategic adjustments can drive sales growth. Additionally, I developed my skills in data analysis by identifying trends and making actionable recommendations to achieve specific business objectives using Python and Pandas.
