– Learned specifically more of the operational management role. IT systems can be applied to operations management and may present helpful knowledge to understand different sectors better.
– Stockout is a real risk; to prevent stockout and therefore losing customers/revenue, it must be balanced.
– Customer orders must be actively managed/analyzed to help assess demand and ensure cash there will be a steady flow of cash.
– There are tons of considerations to factor in for any supply chain employee when working with global suppliers. One is time zone considerations.
