Crema Coffee Roasting: System Planning & Analysis Project
As part of a group project for BUS4-110B: Systems Analysis and Design, our team developed a systems proposal for Crema Coffee Roasting, a local café in San Jose, CA, to address long customer wait times and lack of digital ordering. Our goal was to enhance customer convenience and operational efficiency by evaluating mobile ordering solutions like DoorDash, Square, and custom apps. The proposed solution includes implementing a digital ordering system and providing staff training to streamline service, reduce congestion, and improve customer communication. In the short term, this solution is expected to reduce wait times and improve order accuracy. In the long term, it will increase customer satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and support business scalability. Through this project, I gained valuable experience in stakeholder analysis, solution research, and practical system planning for a real-world small business.
