Communication Foundations
In this LinkedIn learning, I learned that there are four building blocks to effective communication which is people, message, context, and listening. For people, I need to change my communication method depending on who I am addressing. For example, if it is someone I am close with, I can address them more casually rather than formally. For message, whoever I am talking to, my message needs to be clear and concise. To whoever I am talking to, I must listen carefully to what they are saying before responding. If I have any questions, I should ask them before answering. All these skills I learned from the lesson will help me communicate with my colleagues and managers when I am in the workplace.
