SJSU Marketing Association – Garden Transformation
With the SJSU Marketing Association, I volunteered for the Gardening Transformation event by distributing soil and dirt to different areas to support the growth of plants across all garden spaces within the organization. This activity was meant to help improve the outlook of the campus environment while providing a sustainable and eye-catching garden that students and on-campus visitors can enjoy. My work involved organizing and delivering soil to different planting areas so that the plants could receive the right amount of nourishment to grow. Through this, I learned that people need to come together to build toward one common goal and put in physical effort when doing so to better a community space.
