Learning how to read and write Gurmukhi
Gurmukhi is the language writing system for the Punjabi language. I’ve spoken Punjabi my whole life at home but did not learn how to read and write it. I’ve started learning Gurmukhi by listening to Punjabi songs and reading the lyrics on Spotify. This has been an effective way for me to learn since I already understand the audio. I just have to match the audio with the written words. I’ve been doing it for over a week now and it has overall been a educational and fun experience.
