In the “Building Trust” LinkedIn Learning module, I learned the essential elements of trust-building in both professional and personal relationships. The course highlighted the importance of being reliable, transparent, and consistent in communication, as well as demonstrating integrity and empathy in interactions. These principles are directly relevant to my Management Information Systems (MIS) major, where trust is a cornerstone of successful collaboration. In the field of MIS, I will often work with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders who rely on accurate information and clear communication to make informed decisions. Building trust ensures that team members feel comfortable sharing ideas, concerns, and feedback, which is critical for problem-solving and driving innovation. This module has equipped me with the tools to foster positive, collaborative relationships, enhancing my effectiveness as a future MIS professional.
