Building Trust

I learned how to build trust in the workplace. Starting somewhere new is hard, especially if you don’t know anyone. Trusting someone can increase someones individual performance. Demonstrating to be trustworthy is also important because then your manager will let you apply yourself to other projects and maybe even direct one yourself. You have to prove yourself and build that trust with your other colleagues and managers. This relates to my major because I know I am going to be working in teams, so this was a great video to demonstrate different ways why building trust is important in the workplace, especially if you want to get promoted.
