- SmartMatch AI aims to promote inclusive employment by using artificial intelligence to match underserved individuals, such as foster youth and low-income job seekers, with personalized job opportunities, training programs, and career guidance. Our goal was to address systemic barriers in the hiring process using ethical, data-driven technology. The result is a conceptual platform that combines machine learning and chatbot interfaces to deliver tailored job matches and long-term career development tools. This project helped us better understand the intersection of technology, ethics, and social impact in Management Information Systems. We learned how to design AI responsibly, align solutions with global goals like SDG 8, and ensure fairness and transparency in digital tools.
