Networking Foundations: Networking Basics
This Module really helped my MIS journey in expanding my network knowledge.
I am preparing for my network plus exam so i wanted extra networking practice to prepare.
The module covered various networking topics ranging from hardware to protocols.
The video covered cable types like fiber optics, shielded twisted pairs, and plenum rated cables.
The module also covered various networking hardware ranging from how routers, switches, servers communicate.
Priceless that were covered included IPv4 and Ipv6, Spanning tree protocol, and ICMP.
The different layers of the OSI model were also described to help the troubleshooting process and to describe what each layer entails.
