HSF Finance Virtual Conference
This conference took place on zoom and was hosted by HSF (Hispanic Scholarship Foundation). I really enjoyed the HSF Virtual Finance Conference because it gave me both professional and personal takeaways. I learned about different career paths in finance, what employers are looking for, and how important networking is. There was a financial wellness session and it reminded me that I need to be just as careful with my own money as I will be when working with data and systems in a company.
As a Business MIS major, this conference showed me how much finance and information systems overlap. Companies need people who understand both the business side and the technology side.
