Fall ’23 STEM Undergraduate Students Job/Internship Fair Day 2
I attended a STEM job/internship fair in hopes of gaining more exposure to the networking opportunities available around me. Although the event was quite crowded as many of us are also seeking connections, I was able to receive valuable insights from a few employers. Personally, hearing about their experience and asking for advice from them offered some sort of reassurance to me. The process will be tough, but attending the job/internship fair felt like taking the first step as I got to explore more within this field. Additionally, I also discovered various career paths open to me and related to my major. Ultimately, the search will be challenging and quite tedious but that’s why we are given so many opportunities to push us to apply and put ourselves out there, which is why I must commit myself to these opportunities.
