MBA Info Session
I attended the LCoB MBA Information Session because I am interested in pursuing a Master’s degree and wanted to learn more about the program, such as if it’s worth pursuing and what are the admission requirements. One highlight that caught my eye was the EMBA Consortium, which is an immersive 1 week international programs. They also brought in a guest speaker so that we could see it from an alumna perspective. She currently works at Google as a Communications Coordinator, and I got to ask her questions. One question I got to ask in the chat was “I’ve heard about recent graduates struggling to find jobs right now due to the current state of the job market, but what are some suggestions and career advice you can give and how you got noticed by recruiters?” She mentioned quality over quantity and described her experience with LinkedIn.
