Rock Your Resume Webinar
This webinar was held on March 7 via Zoom by SJSU’s Career Center. The purpose of this presentation was to discuss how we can improve our resumes to better market ourselves. The host covered topics such as formatting, top skills, the 3-question method, accomplish statements, applicant tracking systems, and more. I learned how to refine my resume to be more eye-catching for employers as well as prepare myself for interview questions. also learned how to make a resume more straightforward but detailed in the way it encompasses all of the tasks/accomplishments I achieved. Lastly, I gained information on other resources I can utilize to improve my professional documents by seeking a career counselor or an online feedback website. Through this webinar, it helped better prepare me to present myself professionally as well as work on my written skills.
