Learning Data Science: Ask Great Questions
This Linked-In Learning module really opened my eyes to a part of my area of study I was curious about. In my experience working in groups, there have been many times where I felt like the team was going with the easiest or fastest solution without truly looking at and weighing all the available options. Through this module, I learned to pan for gold (keep digging until I get to the root and learn to distinguish valuable data from other), how to thoroughly organize questions with question trees, and to focus on the reasoning when considering possible solutions (to weed out assumptions and challenge evidence). I am glad to hear that in the professional world, strategic and thoughtful solutions are valued, and I hope I will get opportunities to assist with analyzing data through asking the right questions!
