This module is a complete breakdown of how to use the many functions of pandas. To give specifics, the module defines what series and dataframes and how to analyze them using the pandas functions. One way that the module demonstrates how to analyze these series and dataframes is to create data visualizations. I learned how to create my own heatmap for a dataset and how to interpret it. The lessons taught in this module are essential for my major because as I am a MIS major, I use technology to solve different business problems. There will be times where the software that we plan to develop will require the use of a dataset. In this case, I can use the knowledge I have about pandas and apply it to index, group, and reshape the dataset to obtain the data that I need for developing the system. Even if I am not the one making the code, it is crucial to have a basic understanding of how to use pandas to know how to give instructions on how to code it.
