Getting Things Done
From LinkedIn Learning’s Getting Things Done by David Allen, I learned the importance of creating a trusted system to capture, clarify, organize, reflect on, and engage with tasks so that nothing important slips through the cracks. This method is helpful because it reduces stress, improves focus, and makes it easier to manage both daily responsibilities and long-term projects. It relates directly to my major because success in business and MIS requires balancing multiple priorities, managing complex projects, and working efficiently with technology and people—skills that the GTD framework strengthens by teaching clear organization, time management, and prioritization.
